A recording of a concert performance by the outstanding virtuoso guitarist, composer and producer Steve Vai, which took place on October 12, 2012 at Club Nokia in Los Angeles. This is the 49th concert played by Vai on the tour in support of the album "Story Of Light". Steve Vai is an American virtuoso guitarist, also known as a composer, vocalist, producer, and actor. He began his career as a guitarist and interpreter for Frank Zappa, with whom he recorded and toured beginning in 1980. Since 1983, he has been leading an independent career as a solo guitarist. As of 2012, he has released 9 solo albums with a total circulation of over 15 million copies, and is a three-time Grammy winner. In addition to working with Zappa, he collaborated and toured with such bands and musicians as Alcatrazz, Whitesnake, David Lee Roth, and was a regular participant in the G3 project concert tours. In 1999 he founded his own label, Favored Nations, focused on recording virtuoso performers.
